Le demo que j'ai recu comporte "Sexy-909" qui est justement une piece hard trance tres efficace, avec un echantillon vocal que vous reconnaitrez surement. Par opposition, "Hypnotised" est une piece qui est beaucoup plus commerciale, et qui comporte un peu trop de sons en boite. En fait ca ressemble a un demo de Yamaha TX16w... Ma recommendation va donc vers leur materiel hard trance. Pol-R Noiz sont Frederyck Pelletier et Jonathan Gagne. Pol-R Noiz has been playing live in Montreal from time to time and are known for their hard trance music. The demo i received had "Sexy-909" on it, a cool hard trance song, with a vocal sampling you should recognise. On the other side, there's "Hypnotised", a much more commercial track with a bit too much preset sounds. In fact, it sounds like a Yamaha TX16w demo. I'd recommend the hard trance material. [] Demo [U-Men] [Contact: Guyzmo] [5146786224] U-Men, c'est le cote acid de Frederyck Pelletier (voir Pol-R Noiz) qui se retrouve dans U-Men avec Yvan Beaulieu et J.F. Deschamps. L'instrumen- tation ici est tres minimaliste sans que ca ne soit porte a l'extreme. La qualite du son du demo m'empeche d'apprecier pleinement les effets de filtres (cassette type I...) mais on peut associer ca a quelque chose comme Hardfloor (Harthouse). Se dance assez bien, et est tres rhythmique. En un mot, de la musique acid qui va droit au but. U-Men is the acid side of Frederyck Pelletier (see Pol-R Noiz), combined with Yvan Beaulieu and J.F. Deschamps. Minimalist instrumentation, but not taken to the extreme makes this very danceable and rhythmic. The sound quality of the demo unfortunately prevents me from appreciating the filter effects (type I cassette...) but it can be compared to something like Hardfloor (Harthouse).
