WAKE UP!

	I grow and change evolving towards an incertain future, a 
future of light and sound, and of self-oriented growth. My journey of 
time space begins. In this motion I find truth and understanding, 
progress and change all about and I see it is my generationÕs time to 
say what so many before have stated as well. I have awakened to 
my self and I shall never again sleep in a state of un-awareness. 
	The time is short. What future lies for this thing called house 
community if it isnÕt to progress towards self-awareness? Many 
minds and energies of all ethnic origins coming together in a 
psychedelic commune, a door to enlightenment. Many have forgotten 
the direction is forward, not in circles, breaking down the walls of 
insecurity and false pretentions which lead us to believe that one is 
better than another. Wake up to the call, donÕt you gather the 
message of today, time for drastic change in all of us. To quote Jimi 
Hendrix, Òif the sixes were in the nines I donÕt mind.Ó
	I see this as a movement, IÕve seen its peak and now its 
downfall. The so-called ravers today show only some sense of 
community. ItÕs a club, who is what with no real education of the 
masses, no creativity involved. The house movement is not the latest 
trend and itÕs not supposed to be like this. Picture a collaboration, a 
celebration of a common center found in all of us. Become the 
rhythm, come back to the main shake and experience the vibe, a 
large collection of energy, a manifestation of light and sound, a 
feeling of belonging is felt by all. Those who choose to turn on and 
tune in know well what IÕm saying. Feel the vibe.
	When nothing is put into this how can one expect anything in 
return. The mentality which thinks ÒOK, IÕve paid, now entertain meÓ 
is all wrong. One must give to receive. No strobe light and fog 
machine create a vibe, the people do. Tune in.
	The house tribeÕs strength lies in communion, communication is 
the key, our message Òwake upÓ. The power lies in awareness, 
breaking away from control, organization and elevation of the 
masses. The process is to drop out and to overcome. House is 
international yet some choose to think of themselves rather than us 
as a whole: family understand. Without organization we are easily 
overcome. Police officers just view this as a drugs party and not as a 
call for unity and peace. Things must change: we must evolve or this 
will be over-run and commercialized. Some promoters have stressed 
the point of throwing a positive party, yet many promoters still lack 
in many areas. Money and an ego boost are all they are after. Let go 
your ego, come back to the true house, itÕs a love thing. 
	Some may state that we are simply hippies who embrace 
technology. Perhaps, but we are the generation of today and itÕs our 
obligation to stand up and unite. If this reality check is harsh, relax 
in the safety of your own delusions that itÕs just a drugs party and 
that the world is a great place. Please believe me, the people create 
the party, donÕt let the party create you, tune in. Never forget this is 
a whole not a part. DJ, Promoter, Raver are the same thing. There 
should be no attitude in our house. If I have learned anything from 
this it is a lesson of equality. 
	ItÕs time for promoters to get together. Through fund raising 
parties we could get our own system for free parties this summer. 
Less emphasis should be put on wasteful flashy flyers which could 
be more money put towards free food. After paying $20 one should 
at least be entitled to free water. More healthful products should be 
available. Candy bars and lollypops provide no vitamins to keep one 
apt to dancing all night. Come dance together with positivity. House, 
one world tribe. Creativity is the key to everything, open up your 
mind and let your soul be free. Be everything that you want to be. 
	Space, migration increases life extension. Our common foe is 
control, the tools of this are the media and police force. Anytime the 
control factor is threatened there is always and will always be the 
oppressive trying in everyway to destroy that threat. Bad coverage 
on the TV such as how this is an ecstacy cult corrupting our children, 
total media Twinkies filled with stupidity rapidly consumed by the 
general public. Genesis P. Orridge, a true icon, made the statement  
that if we organize and educate we can overcome, nothing short of a 
total war and itÕs true. Our weapons are awareness and organization. 
	House nation under a groove, getting down just for the funk of 
it. House nation and weÕre on the move, nothing can stop us now. 
Through learning to live in a house environment we can take our 
vibe and spread it to everyday life, taking back that which has been 
taken from us: our personal freedom, freedom of choice and of 
knowledge. Rise above. A secret location, the beat of the drum, all 
night dancing in space time togetherness. Our future is today. We can 
not turn our backs on progress. Wake up! It is our turn.
